Rajeev Khandelwal (born October 16, 1975) is an Indian Television Actor from Jaipur Rajasthan India is also called Aamir Khan of Tellywood.[citation needed]

He was first behind the camera writing documentary film scripts and then a few years ago made his way to the front screen. His character of Sujal in Kahin To Hoga taught us that the depths of love are limitless. Then came Varun of Time Bomb - the odrinary citizen- fighting against the wrongs of the world. He just recently entered CID for a short special appearance and now hopes that his next project takes him back to the romatic land. Ater that he appeared in the lead role of a very successful television series Left Right Left where he played the role of Captain Rajeev Singh Sekhawat. He left the show and has now decided to step into films. He recently shot the film Aamir which is to be released on June 6, 2008. His very close friend is his co-actress from Kahin To Hoga Aamna Shariff.

He is a very reserved person who enjoys cooking, playing sports, horse riding and going to the gym. Before acting he was a documentary filmmaker and he wrote 30 documentary films on the army and women labor, which airs on Doordarshan channel. He also directed documentary dramas. He made and produced his own drama called Pilot but it was not aired. Then he came to Mumbai to try his hand in modelling. Due to his good looks, he was selected as a model in commercials for LML bikes, Crystal combs, Gilbleys green label whisky, videocon refrigerators, Kodak,etc. Then he decided on acting. He gave an audition at Balajis and was selected for both his looks and good acting. He did the serial Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat. Then he was selected to play Sujal Garewal on the hit serial Kahiin To Hoga. He was highly successful in potraying Sujal, a man with the limitless capacity to love a woman (played by good friend Aamna Shariff). Today he has won the hearts of many for his great acting and good looks. He really admires shahrukhs home mannat and he wishes that he owns a home and he would name it jannat
Rajeev's favourite actors from Bollywood are Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan and favourite actress Kajol.
