Rajapur is a town and a nagar panchayat in Chitrakoot district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

As of 2001 India census[1], Rajapur had a population of 12,728. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Rajapur has an average literacy rate of 64%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 71%, and female literacy is 55%. In Rajapur, 20% of the population is under 6 years of age.
