Raj Kumar Pradhan (born 27 April 1973) is a Nepalese cricketer.[2] A right-handed batsman and leg spin bowler,[3] he has played for the Nepal national cricket team since 2002,[4] including four first-class matches.[5][1]

[edit] Biography

Born in Nepal in 1973,[3] Raj Pradhan first played for Nepal at the 2002 ACC Trophy in Singapore.[6] He made his first-class début in 2004 when he played for Nepal against the UAE and Malaysia in the 2004 ICC Intercontinental Cup.[5] Later in the year he played in the ACC Trophy in Kuala Lumpur as well as ACC Fast Track Countries Tournament matches against Singapore and the UAE.[6]

In February 2005 he played in the repĂȘchage tournament of the 2005 ICC Trophy,[6] in which Nepal finished third after beating Qatar in a play-off.[7] He also played ACC Fast Track Countries Tournament matches against Singapore, Malaysia,[6] the UAE and Hong Kong.[5] The games against the UAE and Hong Kong also counted towards the 2005 ICC Intercontinental Cup[8] and are his last first-class matches to date.[5][1]

In 2006, he played in a match against Namibia in Windhoek to decide the final place in the 2006 ICC Intercontinental Cup. Nepal had to win outright to qualify, but could only manage a draw after there was no play on the final day.[9] Following this he went on a tour of Pakistan with Nepal before playing in the ACC Trophy.[6]

He most recently represented his country when he played in all four ACC Premier League matches in October/November 2006 against Hong Kong, the UAE, Singapore and Malaysia.[6]
