[edit] Sufjan deletion

I noticed that on 16 February 2006, you made an edit to the Sufjan Stevens page, questioning the source of an explanation for his name. I believe I have found that source - it is a 2004 interview with Junkmedia http://www.junkmedia.org/index.php?i=1031 The last question is as follows:

Tell me a little story about the name Sufjan.
It's Armenian. It means "comes with a sword." It's one of those charming militaristic Muslim names. I guess my purpose in life is to kill and avenge.

--Thanks for the reference. I added a section to Sufjan's profile as background and included it, as well as cleaning up the reference section.--Fresh 18:22, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Camelbak.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Camelbak.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 13:36, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit to Sheffield Wednesday F.C

Hi, just to let you know I reverted your edit. Use of the word 'are' in British English often applies to singular nouns, e.g. "the committee are happy with the decision". As an article about a British football club, its probably best to keep the British English form. See articles about other British football clubs for similar use. Hope that clarifies why the article is written as it is. WJBscribe (WJB talk) 00:50, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Fried (soldier)

I just thought I'd drop you a note to let you know that your AfD nomination above was incompletely listed. You forgot to list the debate on the daily log (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Log/2007 May 25). I've sorted things out for you though.

Best wishes, Xdamrtalk 22:38, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Kimm0206.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Kimm0206.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:52, 20 June 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Videmus Omnia 03:52, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Please stop

Please stop removing entries from Deaths in 2007. There is consensus that redlinks remain for one month before deletion. WWGB (talk) 03:27, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Todd Demsey promotional photo.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Todd Demsey promotional photo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page.
