The reasoning was lack of money, however in the next instance the main high school got new carpeting just to name a few... money that should have gone for the education of the A.C.E students. The A.C.E students were basically told by the board "You don't matter. The fact that you learn differently doesn't matter, and no child left behind doesn't include you. Besides we're tired of our current carpeting. Also we need a pay raise. Sound bitter? I guess when a minority gets the shaft, I do tend to feel that way. The A.C.E teachers were willing to take a cut in pay for the school to stay, they were told no. Sporting events were equated to the dissolving of the school due to the few participants versus the many. Sports and carpet won out over education.
