Hello. I'm a native of Thrissur, Kerala, India, currently pursuing a doctorate in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I've been a long-time lurker on wikipedia, but I've been finding increasingly more unprofessional, poorly written, or incomplete articles related to areas that are within my competence to evaluate. So I will be contributing (somewhat irregularly) to articles on topics I'm familiar with such as:
- Kerala-related topics.
- Computer networking, security, and systems.
- Any other article that I think I can improve.
Although, when you think about it, the whole concept of incidental contribution nowadays (like in my case) is somewhat amusing: I expect most people go to wikipedia to find information about topics they don't know anything about, never for topics in which they have competence. Guess it's a good thing there are enough users who come here specifically to contribute.
