Sorry for writing such a bad stub, but unfortunately the official site of Paraguay railroads ( http://www.ferrocarriles.com.py ) stopped working and there are very few information sources online.

Some tips for improvements: - there is a CD with overview of history and other details - http://www.paraguay-cd.de/espanol/seite2zugspn.htm - perhaps somebody has it? - the mail address of Ferrocarriles is ferroca@rieder.net.py - perhaps they have something to share (if you speak Spanish)?
