Raivo Järvi

Raivo Järvi, commonly known under the pseudonym of Onu Raivo (born December 23, 1954 in Pärnu) is Estonian artist, radio personality and politician.

It should be noted that an unknown person with no connections to Raivo Järvi has adopted the moniker of Onu Raivo for use in a number of Estonian web forums, mostly those on the delfi.ee websites.

In 1979, Järvi graduated from the Estonian State Art Institute.

Järvi was a freelance artist from 1983 until 2003. He has illustrated more than 22 books. He wrote and illustrated one children's book.

Järvi has appeared in a number of TV shows and radio programmes, most famously in Kõige Suurem Sõber and Onu Raivo Jutupliiats. Currently, Järvi appears regularly Radio Kuku at Onu Raivo rännakud.

Järvi has been a member of Riigikogu since 2003. He is a member of the Estonian Reform Party.
