Raireshwar is situated in Bhor Taluka near Pune, India. Raireshwar has a temple famous for its historical importance. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj took the oath of Hindavi Swarajya in this temple at the age of 16. The temple is very old and of stone structure. It is situated in between various hills and forts such as Kenjalgad. The temple is on a platue, which is full of beautiful flowers during monsoon.
Shivaji Maharaj took the oath in 1645. The jangam was sent by Shahaji Maharaj. It is very beautiful place to visit during June to Feb. Distance from Pune is 82km. Pune -Bhor-56km. Bhor -Korle-20km. korle-raireshwar-6km. The people living are JANGAM. The main crop is wheat. They sell milkproducts. It has importance in Maharashtrian history.
