Raipur Airport (IATA: RPR, ICAO: VARP) is located 20 km (12 mi) south of Raipur, in the state of Chhattisgarh, India. In 2006 this Airport witnessed 82% increase in passenger traffic (highest in India). It is the sole commercially operating airport in the state of Chattisgarh. The Airports Authority of India has recently started the process of modernization of the airport
