Rainford College is a sixth form college located in St Helens, Lancashire.
Rainford [College] was first given "sixth form" status in 1989 when St.Helens council wanted to bring more of a future to the stability of youngsters throughout the area. It is a well balanced, good performing school which is currently 2nd in the results table in the St.Helens area, behind Carmel College.
The actual college itself consists of Small to Medium sized rooms. The school wanted this so that there could be smaller classes for more interactive rooms and so that the teachers and lecturers could engage with the students better.
The college has kept up the tradition of a "common room"- a place where people can go and chill. The head of the college is Danny Hubball and Steve Marshside.
