Raindrop Foundation

Raindrop Foundation is a non-profit organization established in Houston, TX in 2000 solely for educational and cultural purposes.

Foundation's goals are:

- To introduce Turkish Culture and establish bridges between different cultures

- To fulfill the cultural and social needs of Turkish-Americans who reside in Texas and neighboring states

-To provide students and the public with a variety of educational services i.e. K-12 and SAT tutoring, ESL classes, Turkish classes and educational consulting (we help the students find the best college or graduate school that meet their qualifications and future goals)

-To help newcomers adapt the life in the US. This includes the health system, school district information, the tips when renting a place or buying a car and so forth.


CULTURAL PROGRAMS

Raindrop Foundation offers a variety of cultural events focusing on contemporary Turkish society and modern-day life in Turkey, as well as on traditional arts. Through its cultural programs, The Raindrop Foundation attempted to provide an accessible and ever-expanding source of aesthetic and intellectual experience for our community.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Raindrop Foundation operates direct educational activities including in-service workshops, teaching workshops, training seminars and retreats in all the above mentioned arts disciplines, focusing especially on youth. Cultural education and outreach programs to youth from all ethnic backgrounds provide a diverse multi-cultural ground base for enhancing awareness of the Turkish culture. Language Classes consisting of conversational Turkish and grammar taught by qualified native speakers.

SOCIAL PROGRAMS

Social programs are designed for the enjoyment of students, academic and administrative staff as a change of pace from the academic routine, and to develop new and existing interests.
