Rainbow Springs, at the head of Rainbow River
The Rainbow River is tributary of the Withlacoochee River in Marion County, central Florida, USA. It flows south from Rainbow Springs in Rainbow Springs State Park, reaching as far as the city of Dunnellon.
Although there are some housing developments, the riverside is largely unspoiled, and the river is used as a leisure resource for kayaking, canoeing, boating and fishing.
