[edit] About the books

The books, usually in groups of 7 per series, are based on the lives of Rachel Walker and Kirsty Tate. In the first series, The Rainbow Fairies, the two girls befriend the Fairy King and Queen, King Oberon and Queen Titania. From then on, these monarchs call on Kirsty and Rachel to rescue fairies and their magical possessions, from their enemy, Jack Frost. Jack Frost was not invited to the Royal Midsummer Night Ball, and since then, has taken his revenge by banishing fairies and their items to the human world. Rachel and Kirsty meet up with fairies in the human world in order to rescue the magical items of the belonging to the fairies. The goblins, the Jack Frost's henchmen try to either steal or prevent the girls from rescuing the magic item. Goblin's are very uninteilligent and stubborn, so they often lose the magical item of the fairies. The books always end happily with the fairy reclaiming her special item.
