Rainbow Dash is a G3 My Little Pony. She is one of the most well-known of the ponies, and has appeared in My Little Pony Live.

Rainbow Dash was released 5 times. Her first 2 releases were in 2003, facing left and right, respectively. The next release was Tea Time with Rainbow Dash, a Pretty Pony Fashion. The fourth release was an accessory set: Ponyville Picnic with Rainbow Dash. Her latest release was in the year 2007, when she was rereleased in the Favorite Friends set, along with Pinkie Pie, Sunny Daze, and Wysteria. This time, she has a color gradient on her left hind leg.

Rainbow Dash was a 1st edition rainbow pony. Rainbow Dash has been featured in nearly all the My Little Pony DVDs. Her body was beautiful light blue and rainbow mane that support colors Dark pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and Rainbow with clouds symbol. She is very glitzy, loves to adventure, and obsesses with anything rainbows. She is voiced by Venus Terzo in all the cartoons and in the Live show. Her trademark quote is "Darling".

Though none of the DVDs starred Rainbow Dash, exclusively, The Runaway Rainbow did feature her the most out of all the movies. She, Minty, Pinkie Pie, and Spike the dragon; help Rarity get back to her home in Unicornia, so that she can create the first rainbow of the season.
