Rainbow Aosta Valley

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Rainbow Aosta Vally (Arcobaleno Valle d'Aosta) is a Italian coalition of parties active in Aosta Valley.

It is composed by the Federation of the Greens (which are particularly strong in the Region), the Communist Refoundation Party, the Party of Italian Communists, Democratic Left and some local far left groups. In practice it is the regional section of The Left – The Rainbow, but, differently from the national federation of parties, Rainbow is active in the Region since the 2003 regional election. In that occasion the coalition won 7.9% and three regional deputies.

Since 2006 it has been a member of the Autonomy Liberty Democracy alliance.

In the 2008 regional election Rainbow won 5.6% of the vote and no regional deputies.[1]
