Railroader culture

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Railroader culture was a term coined by Mr. Justice René P. Foisy in his report of the events that led to the 1986 Hinton train collision.

The Commission of Inquiry found that a "railroader culture" existed that prized loyalty and a certain sense of experience that would allow railroaders to circumvent certain safety rules.
