[edit] Still in use?

I live in Woodhall Spa and so go past the base nearly every day and im pretty sure its still open, but not in operational use. For a start the sign saying "RAF Woodhall" is still up, and maintained!, and secondly all the gates and security is still there. I've also seen military vehicles going in and out. Although there isnt any flying going on any more i think it now is used for testing, particually jet engines!
