[edit] Nuclear accident?
I added the {{accuracy}} tag because the 'nuclear accident' information is presented as undisputed fact, which in fact is not the case; see [1], [2], [3]. That this is not settled factual information should be included - I will attempt to address later, but don't have time right now. 134.244.168.222 14:05, 18 May 2005 (UTC)
- Hopefully I've reworded it sufficiently now. -- Joolz 00:50, 12 Jun 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Peace camps
This article needs greater coverage of the peace camps. I'll try and add some myself later, if nobody else does. -- Joolz 00:50, 12 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Information added regarding the use of RAF Welford , not widely know or acknowlaged.
I have been watching and reading with interest, i will repost the RAF Welford information and a link to an independant history of Welford which also claims the misslies "might" have been kept there. XR2TT
I agree on the article needing more on the peace camps, I'm going to give it it's own heading, because I think that camps are seperate from the current heading they are under. rakkar 07:09, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Expanded Article
The Peace camps are a part of the history of RAF Greenham Common and deserved a seperate section in the article.
When I expanded this article today, I insured that the peace camps had a sutiable presence in the article. Hopefully the additonal information I added gives this article a lot more depth and puts RAF Greenham Common in a proper historical light.
There was much more than just the 1980's cruise missles that happened here. The airfield was a vital part of the D-Day landings, Operation Market-Garden, and the early cold war years.
I hope you enjoy and Happy new year ! :) User:bwmoll3 03:10, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
