Raffles L’Ermitage is a luxury boutique hotel in Beverly Hills, California that is located close to the famed Rodeo Drive which features over 100 retail outlets. The hotel is housed in what was formerly a high end condominium complex that was built in the 1970’s.

The hotel provides 675 square-foot standard guestrooms, which are the largest standard hotel rooms in Beverly Hills. The hotel consists of 119 guest rooms including 13 suites that span eight stories. The name L'Ermitage is adapted from the word Hermitage, which means home of the hermit. Raffles L’Ermitage Beverly Hills has been awarded the Mobil Five Star and AAA Five Diamond Awards for 2008, making Raffles L’Ermitage one of four hotels to gain similar privilege in California.
The hotel has become a regular celebrity stopover after many award ceremonies. Raffles L’ermitage was also a destination where celebrities would retire to recover from plastic surgery, Michael Jackson and Liz Taylor being two such guests.[1]
Those who have stayed at the Raffles L'Ermitage Beverly Hills, such as Keira Knightley and Penelope Cruz have received gold room keys engraved with their initials, and Angelina Jolie has entered the hotel through a private, red-carpeted entrance from the parking garage. The Raffles L'Ermitage is also located right next door to Steven Spielberg's famed studio DreamWorks, and Virgin Records.[2]
The hotel’s restaurant known as Jaan which means dish or bowl in Sanskrit serves Indo-French cuisine; the hotel also offers guests the option of dining 24 hours a day and was one of the first in the industry to introduce the feature. The services of the trademark RafflesAmrita Spa is also available at the hotel.
