Rafael Luiz Bauml Tesser

Rafael Luiz Bauml Tesser (born on May 16, 1981 in Curitiba, Brazil), better known as Tesser, is a Brazilian football defender who, as of August 2007, is playing for Italian side Taranto Sport on loan from Brazilian club Ituano.

He began his professional career playing with Tarmandaré in 2000. From 2001 to 2003 he was at Curitiba and in 2003-2004 he spent some months in Georgia with FC Dinamo Tbilisi. Once back to Brazil, he played for Atlético Mineiro, Joinville Santa Catarina and Ituano of Brazilian second division. During January 2007 transfer window he joined Italian Serie B team US Lecce on loan and came back to Ituano in June. Ituano then sent him on loan to Taranto Sport.
