[edit] Club career
He started his semi-professional career playing soccer in the NBN State Football League for the South Cardiff Gunners as a 16 and a 17 year old in New South Wales, Australia. After playing a disrupted year in 2003 due to suspensions he decided to leave Australia for better fortunes overseas where he landed first in Oregon, United States where he spent the summer. Later leaving for his native Spain and Galicia he won a spot in the youth ranks of Celta Vigo. In their B team he played a vital role for his side making them a very competitive team in the Spanish Tercera División (Fourth Division), after two successful seasons with Celta de Vigo B without a promotion to the first team he accepted a contract with CD Ourense of the Spanish Segunda División B (Third Division) where he played his first and only season as a professional footballer. He excelled at the club becoming the second top goalscorerer for the season and an outstanding young prospect but he left with mutual consent to move back to the United States to get married to Zoey and begin his new life in Seattle, Washington.
