RAF Jurby
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A former RAF station, built in the north west of the Isle of Man. The airfield is in part still usable, a road now cuts though the main north south runway, and being government owned it is only used for an airshow every year. It now has mixed purposes as storage, a racing circuit, karting track and now a new prison. The village of Jurby has also crept onto parts the airfield.
