[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Scars.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Scars.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 09:34, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Joe Kleon

An article that you have been involved in editing, Joe Kleon, has been listed for deletion. [edit] Joe Kleon

A tag has been placed on Joe Kleon, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Joe Kleon and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. InDeBiz1 (talk) 00:45, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your article

No worries, I'm going to write a pithy, cool, wholly encyclopedic one for you, from scratch. I need 3-5 independent sources (WP:RS), which is to say articles, about you. Can you go through those 104 footnotes and find me at least 3? I've put a copy of the old article at User:radioinfoguy/sandbox so you can go through them. Cheers, Gwen Gale (talk) 03:02, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] rewritten

I've rewritten the article about your career as a local radio DJ in northern Ohio USA, from scratch. I want to help you but please be aware, if I see you using sockpuppets again I will block them all indefinitely and block you for a day for disruption. Going by the available secondary and primary sources, which are very thin, your career does not meet WP:BIO. However, I have a big docking soft spot for folks in show business and I can at least show that you have some notability in Ohio which makes having a reliably sourced article on Wikipedia worthwhile. I have stretched the sources here and there based on aspects of your career which are verifiable only on your website, which according to Wikipedia policy is not a reliable source about you but which nonetheless do conform with what I've seen in the reliable, independent sources I could find. Owing to the background of both this article, your editing history and your blatant conflict of interest, please leave editing the article to experienced editors. If you have any errors or reliably sourced, independent and verifiable information to note, please feel free to do so on the article's talk page, or here, both of which I will be watching along with the article. All the best to you! Gwen Gale (talk) 23:53, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
