Radoslav Kvapil (born 1934) is an internationally acclaimed Czech pianist and composer, considered by some to be the among the finest exponents of Czech piano music. However, at the end of the last century, he devoted his concert programmes to works by Chopin, particularly in France, in the Chopin International Piano Festival in Nohant. He has also recorded Studies by Chopin (coprod. Amat/Jean-Pierre Thiollet, 1999).
