Radmila Bakočević

Radmila Bakočević (Serbian: Радмила Бакочевић or Radmila Bakočević) (born January 5, 1933, in Dragačevo, near the town of Čačak, Serbia), is a Serbian opera singer, a soprano who achieved a huge international success. She sang many operatic roles in the former Yugoslavia and abroad - in Europe, North and South America, in some of the most important opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York City and La Scala in Milan. She is currently professor of singing at several music academies and a member of the Association of Musical Artists of Serbia.She was a Chancellor of the University of Arts in Belgrade .
