Radio Farda

Radio Farda is a Persian language radio station based in Prague and Washington, D.C.[1] Supported by the U.S. government, Radio Farda broadcasts political, cultural, social and art news with emphasis on Iran (Persia). The name "Farda" means "tomorrow" in Persian. Radio Farda's website has been blocked by Iranian government.

An Iranian-American journalist working for Radio Farda, Parnaz Azima, was banned from leaving Iran after her trip to the country. Her passport was later returned to her on a 550,000 U.S. Dollar bail.
