Radio Bam
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Radio Bam is a Sirius Satellite Radio show on channel 28, Faction. The show's title comes from the host, professional skateboarder Bam Margera, star of Viva La Bam, Bam's Unholy Union and cast member on the MTV show Jackass, as well as the two Jackass movies.
History
The show first took to the air on November 15, 2004. It airs every Monday night at 7:00 p.m. Eastern / 4:00 pm Pacific with encores Friday nights at Midnight Eastern / 9:00 pm Pacific.
On December 26, 2005, Brandon Novak arranged to engage in sexual activities with two North Philadelphia hookers. Sirius got wind of the plan and the show was cut off early. In the next live episode two weeks later, Bam explained to the listeners what had happened and why at the height of the incident the broadcast cut to the Turbonegro song "All My Friends Are Dead".
On August 28, 2006, on an episode of Radio Bam, Margera cut the broadcast short out of frustration with the case brought against his uncle, Don Vito, and the litigious side of America the case represents. After Margera left the air, the station redirected to Faction in New York and played music for the rest of the hour.
