Radio Alpine was a pirate radio station broadcasting on Merseyside during 1981 & 1982. The station's theme tune was the theme from Hill Street Blues. The station broadcast Monday to Friday on 299m/999kHz from Noon until 6pm. The station line up was Paul Kay from 12-3pm & John James 3-6pm. The station also featured guest dj's ex Merseyland Alternative Radio jocks Dave Simpson, Andy Davis & Mike Stand.
