Nexrad Radar scan showing thunderstorm activity across the Piedmont Triad region of northwestern North Carolina as well as southern Virginia. The scan was just before 10:30 PM at the time an EF3 tornado crossed sections of Clemmons, North Carolina in Forsyth County. The complex of storms would later produced a killer tornado near Greensboro.
Note:Red boxes are tornado warnings, yellow boxes are severe thunderstorm warnings and brown boxes are flash flood warnings.
