[edit] Identity theft

In response to your note on my talk page and your e-mail: the material posted in the Identity theft article was self-promotional far beyond anything I've seen in an article that's a virtual magnet for spam links. Read up on WP:SPAM, WP:EL, WP:OR, WP:COI, and WP:NOT for related policies and guidelines.

Rather than hype your own work and risk making a very bad impression on editors, why not see if information reported in the secondary sources you mentioned couldn't be used to help improve the article. The short of it is, we trust secondary sources a lot more than original research. Rklawton 18:39, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
