[edit] Racist comment?
It was a joke. Teimanim were/are famous for having multiple wives. --Daniel575 14:49, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- I know it was a joke, I even chuckeled after I read it, but it is still racist and we don't want to offend our Yemenite readers. --רח"ק | Talk | Contribs 14:50, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 12:16, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A WikiProject Proposal...
I noticed that you were a part of the now inactive WikiProject covering orthodox Judaism. I'm wondering if you'd be interested in a new project I'm thinking over that would specifically expand wikipedia's information on mitzvot in detail. What I'm thinking over is that each mitzvah holds enough depth to be an article on its own, and as I just finished writing an article on viddui I noticed that the amount of information on fundamental concepts of Judaism is sorely lacking (as a test I tried to find information on topics such as shacharit and was very dissapointed). If you'd be interested please feel free to leave me a message! תזכו למצוות!--RShnike 01:26, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think that wikiProject is dead. I suggest you go over and post your idea on the Talk page of the project and we'll all see what we can do. The problem with adding all the Mitzvos is that alot of it is contrvoersial in halacha l'maysa, and alot of the mitzvos are very specific and not encyclopedic. But I still think its a good idea, see what other people think. --רח"ק | Talk | Contribs 03:43, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:JewishStarofJealousy.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:JewishStarofJealousy.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:05, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Modern attempts to revive the Sanhedrin and the talk page there. A guy named User:Historian2 is making quite some trouble. Please throw your voice in as well. --Daniel575 08:48, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
- Yossiea is also making trouble now, just after Historian and I had talked things out. Please throw your voice in also. --Daniel575 | (talk) 18:38, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- Rachak, before you get involved and throw stuff around, read Wikipolicy. Remember, Wiki is an encyclopedia, not a web forum. As such, wiki requires verifiable facts and not just hearsay. Yossiea 12:53, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Brisker template
I'm going to work on it in a few days, since I'm leaving for RBS in a few hours for shabbos and on yom rishon I'm busy. So it'll only be in 2 days. Thanks the offer! --Daniel575 | (talk) 10:12, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] My contributions on the collaboration page
None of the Rabbis that I added had large articles. They were all relatively short.
[edit] Israel bilateral relations
Hi, I could use some support in opposing merging Israel-Venezuela relations into (nothingness) Foreign policy of Hugo Chávez. Anything you can add to Israel-Venezuela relations, Israel-New Zealand relations, and Israel-Japan relations would be very appreciated. Respectfully, Republitarian 17:46, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome!
Hi, and welcome to the Biography WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of biographies.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- The project has a monthly newsletter; it will normally be delivered as a link, but several other formats are available.
There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- Starting some new articles? Our article structure tips outlines some things to include.
- Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every biography article in Wikipedia.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask another fellow member, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! plange 00:12, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your home pages
Was curious, but none of your home pages seem to work from these links.
[edit] World Jewry
According to the Jews by country list (a fine piece of work in its own right), most articles follow a non grammatical thread such as 'British Jews', 'American Jews' etc. Due to the bad grammar, I propose World Jewry be adopted to replace it as the category for Jewish Population. The World Jewish Population Survey of 2002 (cited here) talks of "world Jewry", so we can't be too far wrong when using that term in reference to this issue; Jewish Population. In fact it comes up in nearly every survey on Jewish Population. Google it. Chavatshimshon 23:16, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
Please take your stand on the matter. Wikipedia:Categories for deletion.

[edit] Aramaic Wiktionary
Seeing your knowledge in Aramaic, I believe that you may be interested in something that has been recently proposed on Meta. If you'd like to help us get the Aramaic Wiktionary established, please add your name to the "Users interested in forming an editing community" section, and voice your support in the section labeled "Arguments in favour". [edit] Helping out with the Unassessed Wikipedia Biographies
Seeing that you are an active member of the WikiBiography Project, I was wondering if you would help lend a hand in helping us clear out the amount of [unassessed articles] tagged with {{WPBiography}}. Many of them are of stub and start class, but a few are of B or A caliber. Getting a simple assessment rating can help us start moving many of these biographies to a higher quality article. Thank you! --Ozgod 21:44, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
