[edit] Criticisms

If editors would like to add criticism or detracting points concerning the topic of the article, at least use valid and relevant points. The "Racist Love" paper was written about racial stereotypes, and about how some racial stereotypes are meant to portray Asian people as acceptable to white people, and that these stereotypes are harmful. Detracting points would have to argue that racial stereotypes that portray Asian people in positive light to white people are, in fact, not harmful.

And also, if you would like to edit this article, at least read the "Racist Love" paper. It doesn't even mention interracial relationships. Defending interracial relationships is irrelevant here. Save your troubles. Hong Qi Gong 20:31, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Removed Criticism section

I removed the Criticism section in its most recent form. It says that the concept in question "only make sense in the historical context of the empowerment dialogue of the early 1970s". But none of the sources actually claim this. Hong Qi Gong 17:35, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

I put it back without the offending sentence. Logoi 04:29, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Citation tags not working

Not sure why the Citation tags (cite book, cite journal, etc) are not working, but I can't seem to figure out why. If anybody more wiki-savvy can fix it, it would be a big help. Hong Qi Gong 06:54, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
