[edit] Daedric Prince vs. Princess (Chimer Section)

The term is always Daedric Prince, rather than Princess, despite the sex that a certain Prince may tend to take. Ultimately they all have no sex, the just take forms with particular sexes. Despite generally appearing as a female, Azura is still given the title Daedric Prince. Lorus 02:27, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

I also noticed that, and have edited it to say so twice now. Let's see if it sticks this time.70.43.199.66 18:36, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Nedes are indigenous (Nede Section)

Get with the times, guys. The Nedic people are indigenous to Tamriel, including Cyrodiil, High Rock, and likely Morrowind. They are unrelated to the proto-Nords of Atmora.

[edit] Tang Mo

Added this portion: "The Tang Mo also "could" be based off of the Monkey King, from the classical Chinese novel Journey to the West. "

[edit] Nethemer

How notable is the Nethemer, exactly? I mean, the mod isn't even released yet. And even if it was released I still don't think it should be added because it's not even an official race of the Elder Scrolls games. RebornSentinal

It is notable enough to have its own article, so a small entry about Nethemer with a note that it's from an unofficial mod is likely OK. --Koveras 18:03, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

Maybe, but everything in the article was added by one user and it that user hasn't done anything but promote his mod. It seems a bit like a vanity article to me. RebornSentinal

Raise the question on the project talk page, then. :) --Koveras 16:07, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pictures

Can someone add pictures of each race?

[edit] Dwarf

In Oblivion you can collect items made by the dwarves. Does this mean there's actually dwarves (an own race), or are they just shorther humans?

"Dwarves" is an Imperial mis-translation of Dwemer, the race that disappeared. And they were no shorter than everyone else (thus, everyone can wear the armor). praetor_alpha 16:11, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

accually in morrowind there were dwarfen ghosts and they were quite short if i remember right, on another note i thought vardenfell was named by the nords not the dwemer, could someone link me to a place were it says otherwise? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.82.9.92 (talk) 03:27, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] So called picture of an ayleid

There was a picture of an Ayleid next to the explanation about the Ayleids. I deleted it because we simply don't know how the Ayleids really looked . Sure, we can guess how they looked like , but it are only guesses and should not be represented on wikipedia as a fact.

unfortunately your clueless as to what your talking about. the pictures i uploaded was painstakingly extracted from oblivions game files, specifically those for the ayleid statue guardians for an artifact quest. i hope someone kept a spare because after i uploaded it i deleted it from my hard drive. thx for ruinning all my hard work b/c of your ignorance man DescentPro 09:36, 15 August 2007 (UTC)DescentPro

Calm down, man. I swore I saw a mod that added Alyeids as a playable race on PES. However, since it wasn't from Bethsoft, its not official TES canon; therefore, not suited for wikipedia. praetor_alpha 12:56, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Nord.gif

Image:Nord.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Why do the Argonians have their own page?

If they do, shouldn't the other races? I mean, it's not that they are the only unique race in TES or anything... 66.63.86.156 (talk) 23:54, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
