[edit] Old tracks
How about something on the old-styled board tracks and brick tracks, before paved tracks?--Rbeas 03:57, 29 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Horse and automobile race track split
I think this article needs to lead to two different articles, one for horse track racing and one for auto racing. The former can be named racecourse and the latter could be called racing circuit. But much more content is needed... and lots of link renaming, which I don't wish to do manually. Any other ideas? -- NaBUru38 04:40, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- I Agree I think racing circuit should be about auto racing and motorcycle racing. If not enough content is available then perhaps racing circuit could redirect to road racing and information about racing circuits could be added there. I have no idea about link renaming. Is it two words (so says my english teacher) or one? I have seen it both ways. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 63.76.180.130 (talk • contribs).
[edit] Dogleg
I'm moving this paragraph from the dab page at Dogleg:
- In auto racing or motorcycle racing a "dogleg" refers to a corner on the race track that has a shallow angle, not a sharp one, like the bend in the middle of a dog's leg. A dogleg is usually taken quickly and can be a challenge for both car and driver.

[edit] Temp image store
I'm rewriting this article - this is a TEMPORARY store of the images in the article on this date MickMacNee (talk) 19:00, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Restored 3, I can't see any place for these other 2images I removed, not much space lef and they're not very 'track' oriented MickMacNee (talk) 03:58, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
