Talk:Race Committee

This page is based on my experiences as crew, skipper and race committee member in local events in the west-coast USA.

I'm aware that things vary quite a lot between your local beercan regatta and huge events like the Volvo Ocean Race or the America's Cup, and I intend to contribute some discussion related to this. I also intend to add a discussion of flags & signals, start sequences and such, but I wonder if other regions of the world might use different flags or different start sequences. If things are different where you live, please contribute your experiences. I look forward to learning how things are different.
