[edit] Introduction
Rachna College of Engineering and Technology is located in Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan.
Situated at the hub of the Engineering industries of the country, Rachna College derives its name from the lands stretching between the rivers, the Ravi and the Chenab.
The College was inaugurated by Governor of Punjab on 15th January, 2003. The College is affiliated to the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. The program is accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

The status of Rachna College has been promoted from affiliated college of UET Lahore to Constituent College of UET Lahore. It is a growing institute with a faculty enhanced by senior teachers as visiting Faculty. The college consists of 5 departments

Students may select one of a long list of predefined concentrations, or tailor to suit their own special interests. Consequently, the program exposes students to a wide cross-section of electrical engineering before requiring specialization in an area of concentration.
