[edit] Story
Zoe became friends with Nicole Richie in 2003 and is famous for creating Nicole's reputation as a style icon. After actress Lindsay Lohan and Nicole started to remain each others and shocked people by their weight loss, the media started blaming Zoe for creating clones of herself. "I’m not trying to make people look like me. But when you spend a lot of time with someone, you rub off on each other. I think I’m kind of an older sister to Lindsay and Nicole," she said. [3]
She has also been accused of many other occasions and she defended herself by saying: "I don't think it's fair to say that I'm responsible because I'm a thin person, that because I'm influencing their style I'm influencing what they eat. There was this crazy rumour that I was getting diet pills from Mexico and distributing them. I was like, 'Okay, I've never even tried cocaine. I don't do drugs — I'm too much of a control freak'." [4]
Zoe has also worked with Jennifer Garner, Salma Hayek, Kate Hudson, Brittany Murphy, The Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Enrique Iglesias and Vanessa Carlton.
In 2008 Zoe was reportedly dropped from her long time agency Magnet after insulting Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, Zoe reportedly said: "Anna Wintour is one of my heroes, but they say I'm more influential . . . As great as it is, Vogue won't change a designer's business. But if an unknown brand is worn by a certain person in a tabloid, it will be the biggest designer within a week."[citation needed]
