Rachel Hyde Harvey (born March 21, 1987) (also credited as Rachel Harvey) is an English actress who is best known for her appearance in I Dream alongside S Club 8. She has also appeared in episodes of The Bill, Doctors, Holby City and My Family[1]. She also appeared in Busted's "What I Go To School For music video. Rachel attended Sylvia Young Theatre School during secondary education with her I Dream co-star, Matt Di Angelo.

Rachel began her acting career at the age of 16, when she landed the role of Fiona in My Family. She appeared for 3 episodes. The following year, She got the role of Amy in the 2004 CBBC/Simon Fuller television series I Dream. This programme went on to release an Album entitled "Welcome to Avalon Heights". Rachel then went on to appear in a few BBC dramas. On March 15, 2008, Rachel began a new project, where she plays the character Sofia Taylor in "Sofia's Diary" This is an online series which is held on Bebo[2], and more recently on Fiver, where it is edited slightly differently.

From a young age, Rachel was a member of the rock band, Axis. They recorded a several albums and played in their local area. After a few years, two of the members left, and one joined, to make up the four members of Corby. The band landed a contract with Liberty X's manager, Richard Hannan. The band were the opening act of a few big names. After a few years, the band changed their name to Steel Rose, and recorded some new songs. Not long after, the band split. During the years Rachel spent in the band, she wrote the lyrics to the band's own songs.
