RACI framework

RACI framework is an analytical tool used in Business Process Management that helps to understand and identify the individuals involved in the execution of a certain business process.

RACI stands for the initials of the roles of all the stakeholders involved:

  • Responsible: the individual that performs the work
  • Accountable: the individual that has the power to modify the business process
  • Consultant: the individual that is involved in the process for additional information
  • Informed: the individual that needs to be informed about the outcome of the process
