Does Phaedriel (talk · contribs) know that you copied her userpage? Also, I think it's deceitful to put barnstars on your page that you were never awarded. OhNoitsJamieTalk 22:50, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RFA

Hello RAbbott, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed your RfA. Before accepting a nomination for adminship (or nominating yourself) you should read: the guide on requesting adminship, the Admin's reading list, and the Admin's how-to guide. I also strongly suggest you read the standards people expect of admin nominees. I don't mean to discourage you, but I suggest you withdraw your nomination, which you can do by adding a note to the RfA where it says "Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here:" saying you withdraw the nomination. You likely should wait before attempting to become an administrator, I didn't become an admin until I edited Wikipedia steadily for over six months. Good luck, and happy editing! [edit] License tagging for Image:RAbbott.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:RAbbott.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:09, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Withdrawl

I suggest you withdraw your request for adminship. Need 3-6 months at least before becoming an admin. ForestH2

[edit] Deleted RFA

Your RFA has been deleted as you only have 15 edits and you need 3-6 more months before becoming an admin. Once again: Your RFA has been deleted from the Requests for Adminship page. Please try again later. Don't feel discouraged. Before it was deleted and you had 0 supports and 8 opposes. ForestH2

As I was the one who removed your RfA, you can contact me if you have any questions. Please realize that I removed it not as an insult to you, but rather in your best interest. Continue to be involved in the Wikipedia project and, after a few active months, try for adminship again. Remember, you can participate in the vast majority of the Wikipedia without being an administrator. joturner 01:08, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Copying my userpage design

Mr. Abbott, you may or may have not noticed, but I openly offer to help everyone with their userpages by creating unique designs on request. You may also have observed that I specifically reserve my userpages from licensing. It is for all these reasons that, although it's nice to know that you liked my userpage design, it is both saddening and shocking that you decided to copy it literally for your own. Not only that, but you also saw fit to take barnstars given to me by other users and friends. For all these reasons, I kindly but firmly request that you remove said design from your userpage. If you want, I can make a new design for you that I hope you'll like. Just message me, and I promise I'll do my best. Thanks for your time, Phaedriel tell me - 14:34, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:RAbbott.jpg

Thank you for uploading Image:RAbbott.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you created this image yourself, please look at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#For image creators, select one of those tags, and add it to the image. To do that, simply go to Image:RAbbott.jpg, click "edit this page", and add the appropriate tag. Be sure to remove the current tag indicating a lack of licensing!

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me at User talk:Angr or at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. —Angr 20:21, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
