Rabi Ray

Rabi Ray is a socialist politician, a former speaker of Lok Sabha and a former Union minister of India. He joined the Socialist Party in 1948, and later became member of the Samyukta Socialist Party and the Janata Dal (Secular).[1]

He was Union minister of health and family welfare in Morarji Desai Ministry from January 1979 to January 1980. Later he served as speaker of Lok Sabha in 1989. He hails from Orissa.[1]
