This template name redirects to main namespace page '[[{{{1}}}]]' It is used to categorize pages of the naming format [[### AD]], [[### CE]], [[### BC]] or [[### BCE]] to a (Usually a disambigulation) page represented just by ###, per standard naming conventions.

Tagged pages are also auto-categorized using the parameter '{{{1}}}' to the proper category page as well as listing all such pages on Category:Redirects from year format.
