Hi. The article is at a title that does not conform to wikipedia standards. It does not itself conform to wikipedia standards. It contains no comprehensible information about the notability of the subject. You clearly have a Conflict of interest. If I had not deleted it, someone else would have. If it hasn't been cleaned up by the next time I look at it, I'm afraid I will have no option but to delete it again. Deb (talk) 18:49, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Question

Regarding John_L._Merkt, is it a conflict of interest if Mr. Merkt is cited as a source of information (within reason, and completely objective/neutral in nature)? We live in the same house, so I do have access to that information quite readily (he is my step-father in-law). I also plan on scanning/uploading images when I have more time. R3ap3R.inc (talk) 20:09, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Maybe, but it's certainly Original research, so is not allowed...... Dendodge .. TalkHelp 20:10, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
What about having him edit the article? Is that allowable? R3ap3R.inc (talk) 20:12, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
That's even worse. It's a definite WP:COI...... Dendodge .. TalkHelp 20:15, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Lymbyc Systym

The Lymbyc Systym wiki page was edited to remove the elements that seemed promotional. It was made more concise, and only includes information that is documented by credible 3rd party music news sources (All Music Guide, Pitchfork, CMJ, etc). Also, a list of sources was added.

I feel at this point, since Lymbyc Systym have just as much credibilty as many bands already listed in the Wiki database, the page deserves recognition as a valid Wikipedia article.
