Thru 1994 to 1999 Albany, NY based poet & writer R.M. Engelhardt wrote a number of poems and has published several chapbooks including "Nod","Logos", "Release", "Alchemy" "Sacred Days" & Hearse". Here is a sampling of some of his work thru that time period where he advocates thru his poems the necessity of what he has called "The Honest Transmission". Rob Engelhardt has also been a poet on the Albany, NY scene for a number of years and is the host of Albany's most well-known poetry open mic called "The School Of Night" and thru his efforts has created such groups the AlbanyPoetrySyndicate as well as AlbanyPoets.Org (Now www.AlbanyPoets). which have left a lasting mark on the upstate NY literary scene. His work has also been published by many journals both in print and online including Verve, Industrial Nation, Sure! The Charles Bukowski Newsletter, on poetrypoetry.com, in ThunderSandwich & in many others.
Currently, R.M. lives in Albany, NY where he runs a new group which is a incorporates all the arts, The Central Muse Division.

HE IS THE AUTHOR OF SEVEN BOOKS OF POETRY & HAS BEEN PUBLISHED IN SUCH ZINES & JOURNALS AS THE GEORGETOWN REVIEW, THUNDERSANDWICH, VERVE, IN POETRY MAGAZINE & MANY OTHERS.
