R. M. Engelhardt

Robert Michael Engelhardt (born 1964) is an American poet and spoken-word artist.
He was born in Albany, New York and is the author of several books of poetry, including "Nod", "Alchemy", "Logos" as well as others. Engelhardt is described as a lyrical, apocalypse poet whose work has been included in anthologies, journals, and underground zines/chapbooks. He is also the host of an upstate New York spoken-word open mic called "The School Of Night" since 1999 as well as the creator/founder of such groups as The Central Muse Division, Albany Poets & the Albany Poetry Syndicate.
His new book is entitled "THE LAST CIGARETTE: The New & Collected Poems Of R.M. Engelhardt" " and is published by Dead Man's Press Incorporated 2006.
