From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

R. J. Baskett Middle School is a middle school in Gas City, Indiana with more than 700 students.

Prior to 1980, the school was known as Mississinewa Middle School. The school was renamed to the current RJ Baskett after Russell J Baskett, a former Mississinewa school board member[citation needed], and the school mascot was named the Indians. The school is mostly known for the tunnel that connects from the 6th Grade building to the 7th/8th grade building.
