R. I. T. Alles

R. I. T. Alles is a Sri Lankan educationalist.

Alles started his career as a teacher, eventually becoming an assistant principal at Royal College in Colombo, one of the foremost schools in Sri Lanka, and helped to establish D. S. Senanayake College in 1967, becoming its first principal [1]. In 25 years at the school, he helped turn it into one of the leading schools in Sri Lanka, expanding from 167 students to over 5000.

He has also served as State Secretary of Education (1989-1993), Sri Lanka, and currently holds the position of Chairman of the Gateway College, a private school in Colombo.
