R. Gerald Turner

R. Gerald Turner is currently the President of Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, TX. Previously he served as Chancellor of the University of Mississippi ("Ole Miss").
Turner graduated from Abilene Christian University with a B.S. in Psychology and from the University of Texas with an M.A. and a Ph.D..
Turner is co-chairman of the Knight Commission on Intercollegiate Athletics.
