Rudolph E. Schild, PhD is an astrophysicist at Harvard University, the director of the 1.5 meter telescope program at the Harvard-Smithsonian Cambridge observatories.1 He has authored or contributed to over two hundred and fifty papers2. Dr. Schild is an avid automobile collector and is married to mezzo soprano Jane Struss, who teaches voice at Longy School of Music. 1
